Online coaching and mentorship to help you discover how you want to integrate creative pursuits into your life, along with specific services to help you actually make it happen.

Basically, we're a one-stop shop to help you craft the creativity-embracing life that works for you!

Queerly Creative Lives

Everyone who wants their life to include creativity, particularly in terms of theatre, performance, music, and writing. Maybe as a profession, maybe as a hobby, maybe you have no idea how - but you know you need it somehow and somewhere.

We're especially focused on working with queer people, women, and neurospicy folks who often have a harder time working within the current systems of our world. Those identities bring challenges, but they also come with real strengths. We've got the experience to help you navigate the first and embrace the second!

What Makes Us Special?

We know that for our spicy-brained friends, our fellow anxiety-havers, or our “too many things to do” fellow travelers, getting from “yes, this is what I want to do to make it to the next step” to actually finding that resource and making it happen can be…challenging. So we’ve tried to make it a little simpler by doing what we do best: working together to provide a whole lot of support in a whole lot of ways! For example, if you decide you want to take voice lessons? You don't have to start looking for a teacher, making calls, and sorting through all kinds of information, because you can just schedule a time with Julie Lyn. Want someone to help you develop a new piece you're writing? Book a session with Michelle. Realize you want to audition for a show and need some coaching? We've got you covered. And the list goes on!

We also know that it can be hard to find creative community, so we offer opportunities to virtually gather with other artistically-inclined folks for no-stakes creative play, opportunities to geek about about your creative interests, find collaborators, work on projects, discuss plays, and all sorts of other things.

Of course, if we don’t offer a thing you need, or for whatever reason our version of it doesn’t work for you, never fear -- we’ll support you in finding other resources and helping you make it happen!

We're educators and artists with a passion for helping other folks find the joy that we do in the arts. Our wide ranging experience and training in theatre, music, writing, and dance, combined with the years we've spent mentoring all kinds of people at all stages of their artistic and creative lives, means that we've got the skills to support them in doing so!

"Queerly Creative Lives is distinctly positioned to help creators become re-inspired and reinvest in themselves and their creativity. Michelle comes to this work earnestly, from a place of deep care and expertise. I have experienced first-hand her nature to transform the lives of others -- turning personal creativity into something meaningful and fulfilling. Whether you're stuck in a creative rut or looking to explore a new practice, Michelle has your back. I cannot recommend her coaching and mentorship highly enough."

"You couldn't ask for two mentors more equipped to help you turn your ideas to actualities. As an artist intimidated by the process of creating, I always left Michelle's office (virtual or physical) with tangible concepts and a next-step plan after a big brainstorm session. With Julie Lyn, your dreams and ideas are boundless; she will help you embrace your authenticity to discover what makes your art unique. Both Michelle and Julie Lyn are your greatest cheerleaders, and with their support you'll create something you never thought possible, or - if you're like me - create, period!
